Presented by Craig’s Royal Hotel, Open House welcomes you to High Tea at Ballarat’s oldest and most exclusive boutique hotel.
Join the owners of Craig’s for a special high tea and tour of the hotel featuring stories about past guests and its significance in Ballarat. Built by C.D Cuthbert in 1862, Craig’s Royal Hotel has been a goldfields icon playing host to poets, princes and prime ministers over its 150 year history. The hotel is a Victorian era icon recently undergoing extensive renovation to restore it to its former glory.
First sitting: High Tea service from 11am including a glass of sparkling on arrival and special enhanced menu exclusively for Open House Ballarat. A guided tour of Craig’s Royal Hotel will follow.
Second sitting: High Tea service from 3pm including a glass of sparkling on arrival and special enhanced menu exclusively for Open House Ballarat. A guided tour of Craig’s Royal Hotel will follow.
